Welcome

Are you looking for an expert long armer?  Well, you've come to the right place!  I'm currently serving the Humble/Kingwood Texas area - but can always work with you if you'd like to ship your quilt to me.

Let's work together to turn your beautiful work into a timeless treasure.   Nana Leaves You in Stitches offers quality edge-to-edge computerized quilting. We'll work together to pick the perfect design, even if it means having one of my vendors make you a custom pattern.  Whether you're an experienced quilter or a first-time sewer, I'm here to make your project just how you want it to be!

Below are a few things that will yield the best results during the long arming process:

To prepare your quilt, you should snip all the loose thread from the quilt top and press the top and backing so it's ready to go on the machine.  This is a good time to carefully review the quilt top for little imperfections.  It's easier to fix them before going on the frame.  Look for items that require seam repair.  Also, its important to remove all pins and safety pins that may have been placed in the sewing process.  In regard to backing, please include an additional 4" of fabric on each side of your quilt top.  For example, a quilt top that measures 60” x 70” should have backing of 68" x 78". Finally, there is no need to baste your quilt together with spray, pins, or stitches.
